2025 New Global Leadership
Cheryl Archbald
MD MPH, Harvard University - A.B. 1990
Co-Chair, Zone 1 Northeast US and Canada
“Throughout my career, I have focused on developing and growing diverse interdisciplinary community partnerships, finding similarities and common interests amidst different life experiences.
As Chair of our ANHW Early College Awareness (ECA) initiative, I have been fortunate to connect with amazing ANHW members in our global network to host career panels for alumni to share their career journeys with students to inspire the next generation of women leaders.
In my new leadership role as Co-Chair for Zone 1 Northeast US and Canada, I look forward to supporting ANHW leaders in our Zone in their efforts to develop and strengthen interdisciplinary partnerships with alumni in their local & regional communities, connecting alumni with similar passions and interests through social, mentoring and service activities.”
Leah Chapman
2016, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health
Zone 4 Co-Chair
“I accepted the Zone 4 Co-Chair position with the Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women because of my deep-rooted belief in the power of community and collective advocacy.
Over the past several years, I have dedicated much of my life to building supportive networks for women—whether through organizing the Houston Walk of Hope for RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association, launching the Women’s Health Research & Action Center (WHRAC), or leading research projects in public health policy.
Serving as Zone 4 Co-Chair felt like a natural extension of this passion, and I am eager to build bridges among Harvard women across our region, creating spaces for connection, mentorship, and shared advocacy. My vision is to foster a community where each woman feels heard, supported, and empowered to make an impact—both locally and globally.”
Catherine Jordan
2020, ALM, Harvard Extension
President, Vancouver BC Chapter
Catherine said she accepted her leadership role “to help foster a stronger, more connected alumni community in the region and create meaningful opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and impact. I'm excited to give back to a network that has shaped so much of my personal and professional journey.

Chinyere (Chic) Obi
HBS 2022
President of ANHW Nigeria
Chic said she accepted a position in our Africa initiative “because it aligns deeply with who I am and why I lead.
Stepping into this role felt like a natural convergence of my purpose, passion, and path. I’ve always been driven by a desire to create meaningful spaces where women can rise, lead boldly, and thrive with authenticity. The Alumnae-i Network for Harvard Women offers that rare platform: a community where ideas meet action, and support becomes a catalyst for transformation.
Accepting the presidency of the Nigeria chapter is my way of honoring that vision. It allows me to serve, connect, and amplify the brilliance of Harvard women across Nigeria and beyond. I see this as a mission to nurture intentional leadership, elevate African voices, and build bridges between potentials and infinite possibilities.”
Elise Seymour
HGSE 2018
